David Wettner

I live and work in beautiful Mid Wales, where I draw a lot of inspiration for my art. My primary subject matter is derived from the natural world and includes wildlife and landscape art. I spend a lot of my time working out of doors and sketching 'en plein air' to obtain material for later studio work. 

I work in several mediums, but mostly stained glass, producing unique three-dimensional pieces combining stained glass and native wood. 
I also paint in oils, mostly landscapes direct from nature. I exhibit widely in national exhibitions and have work in local galleries. 

My work is held in private collections worldwide from Europe to the United States and Australia
