Walter Keeler
My pottery is mainly domestic and functional salt- glazed stoneware or more rarely earthenware.
I trained at the Harrow School of Art, studying under Victor Margrie and Michael Casson, and later returned there to teach. I set up my first studio in Buckinghamshire in 1965 and have been at my current studio in Penallt in Wales since 1975.
My influences are Greek Pottery, Roman Glass, eighteenth century Staffordshire Ware and tin oil cans.
